Tens of thousands of Jewish children, families and elderly people live in devastating poverty in the vast lands of Ukraine: forgotten Jews, suffering from unimaginable conditions, unheard of anywhere else in the Jewish world.
They suffer from rare diseases, abuse, neglect, malnutrition, inconceivable poverty, and mental and psychological traumas – in a land lacking a functional welfare system.
The FJC has established humanitarian aid and service projects, designed to locate every family – in even the most remote and harsh conditions – and to provide them with everything needed to change their lives completely.
