Students & Youngsters

In order to ensure the future, the Federation of Jewish Communities invests tireless efforts in preparing the next generation of community leaders for the challenges that lie ahead. Providing Jewish youngsters with purpose and experience is a test whose results are already felt throughout the spreading network of Jewish communities.

The STARS contact-learning-group program organizes weekly meetings for university students, while Arevim centers demonstrate the value of community networking, providing leadership training and social activities alongside professional assistance. And through Birthright ‘Taglit’ Israel, the FJC offers young Jewish adults first-time trips to Israel, strengthening their ties to the Jewish Nation through tourism and seminars – all free of charge.

Along with a host of seminar programs and extra-curricular activities, the FJC’s youth programs are set to prepare the next generation of young professionals for leadership positions – both within the Jewish community and in society, at large.
