In his annual letter to the Jewish communities of Russia on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, Mr. Vladimir Putin, the president of the Russian Federation, extended his warm blessings to the Jewish people in honor of the new upcoming year.

Mr. Putin wrote about the special values of the Jewish nation and their great spiritual and educational contribution, especially in the revival of family values. He also emphasized the peace and harmony that exists today between the different groups and nations within Russia.
