Moscow, Russia – The Prime Minister of Israel, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, dedicated part of his short day and a half visit to Moscow – during which he had met President Putin on the Iranian issue – to a historic visit to the new Jewish Museum and Tolerance center.
“President Putin was correct yesterday when he told me that even in Israel there isn’t such a beautiful and sophisticated museum as here” was the concluding remark of Mr. Netanyahu at the end of the two-hour visit.
The visit was accompanied by the Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar, the president of the FJC, Mr. Lev Leviev, , the Israeli Ambassador to Russia, Mrs. Dorit Goldner, The President of the FJC of Russia R’ Alexander Baroda and by the Museum’s chairman R’ Baruch Gorin. [nggallery id=248]
