Senior members of the EnerJew Jewish Youth Movement leadership team gathered recently in Tbilisi, Georgia, for a four-day empowerment and strategic planning seminar dedicated to strengthening the movement’s leadership and shaping its programming for the upcoming 5787 season.

The seminar marked the second stage of an extended planning process, following a series of online preparatory meetings during which senior staff developed materials, proposals, and program concepts for the year ahead. Meeting in person, the leadership team worked to bring EnerJew’s plans to completion, with new initiatives, creative activities, and meaningful surprises designed to strengthen and expand the quality and reach of the movement’s work across the FSU.

The gathering brought together leading figures from across the organization and the broader FJC educational network, including Rabbi Shlomo Neeman, FJC Educational Director; Rabbi Mendel Mondshine of EnerJew leadership; EnerJew Rabbi Moshe Rochlin; EnerJew Rabbi in Ukraine, Moshe Weber; R’ Yaakov Sominsky, Director of EnerJew; and Rabbi Meir Kozlovsky, Head Chabad Emissary to Georgia.

Alongside the intensive work sessions, participants took part in rich Jewish and Torah content, as well as tours and excursions, while enjoying warm hospitality at the Tbilisi Marriott Hotel.

Since its founding in 2013, EnerJew, generously supported by the Finger Family Foundation, has become a transformative force in Jewish life across the FSU, promoting Jewish identity, youth activism, and leadership. With more than 14,000 graduates, 73 branches in 10 countries, and thousands of Jewish teenagers involved today, EnerJew continues to help shape the next generation of Jewish community leaders across the region.
