#JustOneGift Fundraiser for Needy FSU Jews, Leaves “No Jew Behind”

Over the Chanukah holiday this year, the Federation of Jewish Communities of the FSU is running a fundraiser aimed at reaching all the needy Jews across the region and providing them with humanitarian services. The #JustOneGift campaign focuses on helping specific people with identified needs, all of which could be found in campaign description.

“Some of these people in need are elderly Jews, alone and forgotten, living on misery pensions, others are young families or single parents facing high inflation, unemployment, and economic hardships, yet others happen to be neglected children, and all of them need our help,” said Daniel Gordon, FJC’s coordinator. “We want to make sure every Jew across the region gets at least a little bit of light, hope and warmth this Chanukah, and we can not do it alone,” he said.

This year, the fundraiser allows the participants to choose the number of gifts they want to give, be it Chanukah kits for ten families that puts a smile on their face or substantial life-saving help for a single family.
