New Judaica Store Inaugurated in Jewish Bryansk

A brand new, fully equipped exclusive Judaica store has recently been inaugurated in a festive ceremony attended by dozens at the Bryansk Jewish Community Center and Central Synagogue. The new store is yet another living testimony to the revival of Jewish life in the West Southern Russian region of Bryansk and the entire FSU in general.

“Today is a joyous day for our community,” says the city’s Chief Rabbi, Menachem Zaklas, who leads the community together with his wife, Mrs. Rivka. “The opening of the new store evolved from an ever-growing need and demand by our community members for easily accessible Judaica products, books, paintings, and artworks, year-round and especially towards the different holidays.”

“For many in our community and beyond,” adds Rabbi Zaklas, “this new development symbolizes Jewish continuity and revival. We all find this moment touching and significant.”

Honored with the cutting of the ribbon was Mr. Lev Linkov, head of the local Jewish community and a partner in its astonishing development. Following that, the attendees were invited to a tour of the new store, its products, and its unique concept.
