With Passover only days away, FJC is determined to make sure every Jewish family and individual remaining in Ukraine will be able to celebrate Passover, the Festival of Freedom, with dignity and joy – with Matzah, Passover Seder kits, and Kosher food packages directly delivered to their homes and shelters.
Calling upon world Jewry and its supporters and friends, the FJC has launched a campaign to make sure those remaining behind can easily celebrate Passover with hope for a better future – feeling the care, love, and mutual responsibility, of his brethren across the globe.
“Ever since the crisis in Ukraine escalated, we have done everything and beyond to evacuate and bring to safety tens of thousands of Jewish families and to provide shelter, food, and urgent aid to the many thousands forced to remain (FJC is the umbrella organization for all the Jewish communities across Ukraine and the FSU, deeply rooted within over 250 major and remote cities and villages across the country), and continue to do so even at this very moment.”
“Now that Passover is approaching the country’s Jews will be forced to remain alone, confined to their homes,” the appeal states. “We must make sure they know we care.”
“It’s all in our hands. You can ensure that these tens of thousands of Jewish families and individuals left behind in Ukraine will be able to celebrate Passover, the Festival of Freedom, with dignity and joy – with Matzah, Passover Seder kits, and Kosher food packages directly delivered to their homes and shelters.”
“It is our privilege and duty, to make sure every Jew across Ukraine can easily celebrate Passover with hope for a better future – feeling our care, love, and sense of mutual responsibility; the care of his brethren across the globe.”
In conclusion, the appeal calls us to take action and reminds us to donate generously – “They need our help!”
