Thanks to the invaluable support of the Jewish Relief Network Ukraine, the Federation of Jewish Communities, and Chabad’s humanitarian arm in Ukraine, the Jewish community of Dnipro, led by Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki, organized a unique family summer retreat for over four hundred community members, rabbis, and activists in a beautiful area outside the city.

Participants of all ages—men, women, and children—enjoyed a peaceful and tranquil environment in a gorgeous compound. The time they spent at the resort provided a much-needed opportunity to restore their energy and recharge fully.

The retreat program included abundant, delicious kosher food prepared and served with love and gratitude to those who dedicate their lives to serving the Jewish population of the city. The schedule was filled with amazing activities for children of all ages, organized by a team of talented counselors, allowing parents to rest and participate in various lessons and activities designed for adults.

The picturesque forest, river, and magnificent scenery had a therapeutic effect on the grateful and happy participants. This unforgettable experience, which every participant will cherish, was made possible by the dedicated preparation and work of the communal resort team, led by Mrs. Leah Brez.

Numerous Chassidic gatherings and events were held to provide additional spiritual inspiration and uplift the spirits of all attendees. The families and activists of the community left the retreat renewed, ready to continue building and reviving the Jewish community in the coming year.

This miraculous opportunity to spend time in such a wonderful Jewish atmosphere would not have been possible without the precious support and care provided by the Jewish Relief Network Ukraine. This organization, which has supported Jewish life in Ukraine since the beginning of the crisis, has ensured that the Jewish community of Dnipro can continue its lifesaving mission for the tens of thousands of Jews in the city.
