History: Jewish heritage program translated to Georgian

After completing the entire series of the new and innovative Jewish learning program – ‘Darkeinu’, the FJC’s ‘Or Avner’ Jewish educational network, is happy to introduce the next stage: Translating the series to additional languages. Georgian has been chosen to be the first.

The first learning book, arriving today from the print house, is intended for grade 2 students and covers a wide range of Jewish heritage topics such as the Hebrew calendar, the high holidays, charity, the Shabbat traditions, hosting guests, the festivals of Chanukah, Purim, Passover and Shavuot, and many more.

The Georgian version was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Leviev Foundation for Jewish education in the FSU and additional sponsors who wish to stay anonymous.
