The Grigol Robakidze University of Georgia has signed a cooperation agreement with FJC’s ‘Or Avner’ Jewish school of Tbilisi, enabling its high grade students to integrate into academic studies while still attending high school. The students will be able to choose from a number of leading study courses and enhance their achievements.
Under the leadership of Rabbi Meir and Mrs. Tzipora Kozlovsky, the Jewish community of Tbilisi and its educational institutions have acquired a good reputation for both excellence in general and Jewish studies, and for devoted and caring contemporary education. Hence, the school’s students, directed by Mr. Giorgi Momtselidze, are highly sought after by local universities, leading to the new agreement.
Among the study courses made available to the students are public administration and politics, forensic science, criminology, journalism, medicine, and psychology.
The signing of the cooperation agreement ceremony was attended by the Rector of the Grigol Robakidze University, Professor Mamuka Tavkhelidze and the Vice-Rector Professor Giorgi Mirianashvili.
