Ukraine STARS Intensive Graduates Embark on Inspiring Journey to Paris

Thirty young Jewish women from across Ukraine, participants in the “STARS Intensive” empowerment program, were recently rewarded for their dedication with a unique educational and spiritual journey to Paris, France. The trip marked the culmination of a year of deep commitment to Jewish learning and personal development.

The STARS Intensive program, led by Rabbi Pinchas Vishedski, Chairman of STARS Ukraine, invites university students and young professionals to dedicate eight hours each week to intensive Jewish study. The program serves as a powerful foundation for spiritual growth and leadership within the Jewish community.

The Paris journey offered far more than sightseeing. Participants engaged in a week of enriching activities including Torah classes, workshops, heartfelt prayers, and inspiring Chassidic gatherings, guided by Rebbetzin Dina Vishedski, who personally accompanied the group and provided mentorship and support.

“This program gave them energy, strength, and the motivation to return to Ukraine and continue, with even greater resolve, despite the challenges faced by Ukrainian Jews today,” said Rabbi Vishedski. He expressed deep gratitude to the Chabad emissaries in Paris, especially Rabbi Mendy Azimov, Rabbi Moishe Vishedski of the Beit Chaya Mushka community, Rabbi Mendy Erentroy, and v Rabbi Chaim Nisenbaum, for their hospitality, dedication and involvement.

The trip was made possible through the partnership and support of key organizations including the STARS World Organization, headed by Rabbi Avi Kessel; YAHAD, directed by Rabbi Mendy Wilansky; the Federation of Jewish Communities (FJC); and JRNU, under the leadership of Rabbi Shlomo Peles.
