In Moscow the Jewish Community Center hosted the Sixth Congress of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia, which this year celebrates its 15th anniversary. This congress has become the most representative of all time of the organization, as 178 delegates from the cities of Russia gathered. The main topics of the event were the forms of combating xenophobia and anti-Semitism, as participants of the congress discussed the directions of the Jewish communities in the areas of education and social services, youth policy, and the prospects and development of the Jewish community in Russia in the coming years.
