Ambassadors and dignitaries from the US and Israeli embassies in Azerbaijan attended the special series of events that took place in honor of Chanukah in the Jewish Community of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

The Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Adam Sterling, from the US embassy in Azerbaijan, was the guest of honor at the second candle lighting and was deeply impressed by the Menorahs made out of cans on their way to needy families and Children’s homes.

The Israeli ambassador and his deputy, Mr. Rafi Harpaz and Mr. Ronen Kraus, were the guests of honor for the next lighting. They were impressed by the children’s knowledge of Hebrew and Jewish heritage and enjoyed speaking to them freely.[nggallery id=164]
