A special ceremony honoring and empowering EnerJew youth movement coordinators took place in Moscow during the movement’s latest training seminar. Attended by enthusiastic coordinators, rabbis, public figures, and members of the EnerJew leadership, the event recognized dedication and excellence across multiple categories.

The awards celebrated the extraordinary commitment of coordinators who are shaping the future of Jewish youth across the Former Soviet Union—often under challenging conditions—by building vibrant, thriving Jewish communities.

Individual Achievement Awards were presented in the following categories: recognition and inspiration, community and unity, creativity and innovation, responsibility and care. Club Team Awards were also given for the same categories and, in addition, for long-term development.

Each award was accompanied by personalized notes acknowledging the coordinators’ dedication. Examples include “Sincere care for participants and the club, even in challenging circumstances.” “Active involvement in initiatives, and successful organization of holidays and workshops”; “Responsibility and a creative approach”; “Genuine dedication despite difficult conditions”; “Successfully launching a new club”; and “Professional development and active social media engagement.”

Club Team Awards highlighted achievements such as the highest regional attendance, innovative educational methods, personal examples of Jewish growth, successful integration of youth counselors, and the highest percentage of growth in unique participants.

Since its founding in 2013, EnerJew, generously supported by the Finger Family Foundation, has been a transformative force in Jewish life across the FSU. By inspiring youth activism and promoting Jewish identity and values, the movement has empowered more than 14,000 graduates to reconnect with their heritage. Today, EnerJew operates in 73 branches across 10 countries, engaging thousands of Jewish teenagers and shaping the next generation of community leaders.
