Continuing its annual tradition, the Federation of Jewish Communities’ For Life humanitarian arm in Russia and Belarus held an empowering and inspiring seminar for regional coordinators near Moscow. The three-day seminar brought together 34 participants for a dynamic program focused on professional development, innovation, and peer learning.

Held at the Novy Bereg Hotel outside Moscow, the seminar equipped participants with new tools and techniques for working with project beneficiaries. Attendees received training on the GoTov CRM system that underpins the program’s operations, while also sharing experiences and best practices from their respective communities.

A highlight of the seminar was a surprise visit from the Chief Rabbi of Russia, Rabbi Berel Lazar. During an open Q&A session, Rabbi Lazar addressed the coordinators’ insightful and often complex questions. He expressed deep appreciation for their sacred and tireless work, emphasizing the importance of their year-round efforts to support society’s most vulnerable individuals and families.

“After another year of intense activity—giving their hearts and souls to those in urgent need, especially amid current challenges—our coordinators truly deserve an energizing and uplifting experience. This seminar not only refuels their spirits but also strengthens their skills to continue excelling,” Bella Shernzon, from the project’s management, stated.

At the same venue, a separate seminar was held for coordinators of the FJC’s JFuture educational initiative. JFuture is an international program that blends cutting-edge technology with timeless Jewish traditions to promote the well-rounded development of children. Each session immerses participants in a world of science, creativity, and culture, turning every lesson into a meaningful step in their personal and intellectual journey.
