Coordinators from over 60 EnerJew clubs from across Russia and the FSU, came together in Moscow for the annual EnerJew Team Conference — a five-day seminar dedicated to preparing local youth leaders for the upcoming new 5786 season. The gathering combined intensive training with motivational sessions, aiming to equip participants with deeper Jewish knowledge and practical tools for informal education.

The EnerJew Team seminar plays a key role in shaping the FJC’s Jewish youth movement’s reviving experience for thousands of Jewish teenagers aged 12 to 17 throughout the region. This year’s program included lectures, workshops, debates, collaborative planning, all focused on strengthening leadership and educational skills.

A special feature of the event was “Chinuch Time”, a daily series of thought-provoking sessions led by noted educators, including Rabbi Israel Birnbaum, Rabbi Moshe Rochlin, Rabbi Mendel Mondshine, FJC Educational Director Rabbi Shlomo Neeman, and EnerJew Director Yakov Sominski, all of whom shared insights and strategies for meaningful youth engagement and varied topics in Jewish education and identity.

A highlight of the seminar was the unveiling of EnerJew’s new branding book, accompanied by a fresh and dynamic series of posters and signs. Coordinators were also introduced to the new “Super Challenge” initiative, designed to further energize club activities and teen engagement.

The seminar was a great success thanks to the devotion of Khristina Schulman, Natalia Kuleshova, and Azaria Shaulov whom together with EnerJew’s regional director Natella Epstein made sure that every moment was utilized.
