Hundreds of festive Model Matzah baking happenings for children and adults are now taking place in Jewish communities throughout the FSU, in the days preceding the holiday of Passover. Matzah baking has always been an uplifting occasion, with the Matzah bread signifying freedom and salvation.

Jewish children of different backgrounds gather for the model Matzah baking in every region through the network of FJC’s ‘Or Avner’ schools, kindergartens or the local Jewish community centers.

Besides the hand-made Matzah, every participant also receives a souvenir of a real Matzah pack to take home to their families, spreading the spirit of the holiday across the vast post-Soviet planes.
