“Russia’s Jewish community develops most rapidly in diaspora”

Moscow, November 2, Interfax – Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar speaks about dynamic development of Jewish life in the country.

“It is by right considered the most dynamically developing Jewish community in diaspora. It is a true miracle,” Lazar said at his meeting with the head of the charitable organization Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (USA) Franklin Graham in Moscow, the rabbi’s press service reports on Monday.

The chief rabbi reports that over 200 Jewish communities have been recently opened in Russia.

“Acting leaders of the country always meet people’s desire to return to faith and spares no effort to strengthen spiritual values,” Lazar noted.
